Lady Gaga Fame Perfume

                                      Hello!

I have had a sudden craze with perfumes, I have never been into them because they are very pricey. But i recently got the Lady Gaga Perfume for my birthday and I have been OBSESSED!

The packaging it so ' gaga-esque' with the claw as the cap and the round bottle which looks like an egg. ( If have watched her music videos if you what I mean).

I have the 50ml, but I heard that the 30ml comes with a plastic claw which isn't as great. I am also loving the black spray that sprays out white, so amazing! :)

TEARS OF BELLADONNA
CRUSHED HEART OF TIGER ORCHIDEA
WITH A BLACK VEIL OF INCENSE
PULVERIZED APRICOT
AND THE COMBINATIVE ESSENCES OF SAFFRON AND HONEY DROPS

This is a great perfume for all the 'little monsters' and anyone, smells really fruit and nice. I would say its a day scent, it also lasts along time on the skin which is good :)

Thanks for reading! What are your fave perfumes? Leave me suggestions! I need to start collecting some more! :D

Bye! ~

Review: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

Hello! :D

I haven't blogged in a while, but over the holidays I've been collecting some new makeup products and trying things for the new year! At Chemist Warehouse and MyChemist, they were having a MASSIVE SALE, with 50% off all Revlon, Rimmel and Maybelline products. I've rarely seen a deal like this so I went straight to the store to check out the deals. I managed to snag myself some pretty great bargains :)

The packaging is pretty impressive, I love how they placed a bright pop of color but kept the packing quite slim. I love the glass features, and the panel at the side which has a Rimmel logo. Some negative that I first noticed was the lid, it is quite inconvenient and big. Honestly I don't think they needed a lid that tall also that the foundation wouldn't be great for travelling. But I like the pump which the foundation comes with, super easy to get the right amount of foundation out!

The foundation claims to have an ' Anti-Fatigue Effect + Radiant Glow' and has SPF 15! I'm in the shade 200 Soft Beige.

The foundation has a light fragrance which isnt to noticeable. The foundation has great medium buildable coverage and has a dewy effect not to matte. The foundation is easy to blend as well :)
When my face shone in the light or my hand I could see shimmer from the foundation!

I recommend this foundation as it is truly a great foundation, even for oily skin except you will need a setting powder on areas in which you get oily. I have oily to combination skin and the foundation doesn't give my face that overly oily look.

For $19.95 at Priceline and Chemist Warehouse, I think it's a great price in comparison to other drugstore foundations :)

What do you guys think about the foundation? Leave you're comments below!

My First Makeup Haul!

My First Makeup Haul!

Hello!

I'm here to do my first haul! I've seen these all over You Tube and I thought It would be really fun to do my own :) I got all these items over the past week, and I'll list all the Australian prices below. I got some of these online as they don't sell those brands in Australia. Oh, and i bought these all with my own money! Let's begin..

So the image above shows some of the items I got! Starting from the left are the Revlon Lip Butters, 1000 Kisses Rimmel Lip Tints, Maybelline 'The Falsies' Mascara, Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the Shade Soft Beige and The Face Shop Foundation in the shade True Beige.

I got 5 Revlon Lip Butters in the colors; Peach Parfait, Red Velvet, Berry Smoothie, Pink Truffle and Sweet Tart! I'm going to do a review on these soon, so look out for that! I'm going to buy more soon which will be exciting as there a really great product! These retail for $21.95 in Australia, which is like more than double the price of them in America.. So overpriced! :(

I also got the 1000 Kisses Rimmel Lip Tints in the shades; ( 700 ) Nothing But Nude and ( 110 ) Stay Very Berry. I'll also do a review on these! These retail for around $11-$12 in Australia.

I got the 'Face Shop' Foundation online, so I'm not sure about the pricing but it was $4 online which is pretty good! The ' Falsies' Mascara retails for $19.25 at Priceline but I had a $10 off offer so it came down to $9.25 :). The Rimmel Foundation retails for $22.95 at Priceline, but its on sale alot so you can probably get it for $18.

I also these NYX lip glosses online! Yay, these are my first NYX products because they don't sell NYX here so I got these online for $4 each which is really good compared to other Australian Drugstore lip glosses. I got them in the colors; Natural, True Red, Deep Red and Cafe Latte. I'll also do a review on these soon! :)

Hope enjoyed my first haul and I'll see you guys on my next blog post!

Review: Eye Studio Maybelline Color Eye Tattoo | Bold Gold, Too Cool and Bad to the Bronze

Review: Eye Studio Maybelline Color Eye Tattoos

These have recently landed in Australia and I was so excited when I first saw them, I actually started jumping up and down because they have been raved about so much in the Youtube community I was dieing to get my hands on one of them!

Maybelline says that these involve their new 'ink technology' which provides a super pigmented color and does not crease.

I've picked up 3 shades, because I'm honestly not going to wear all of the 9 shades they have on a regular basis as some of them are really bright.

The shades that I have are:

  • Too Cool ( 05 ) which is a pearly white colour with small specks on shimmer in it
  • Bad to the Bronze ( 25 ) which is a medium bronze colour with shimmer
  • Bold Gold ( 45 ) which is just a gold with shimmer
Haha! As you can tell I'm really bad at describing items, but oh well :)

Top Left is Bad to the Bronze
Top Right is Too Cool
and Bottom Center is Bold Gold
* As you can tell I've used these! Sorry! :(*

Price

In Australia these retail for $11.95 at Priceline, I've heard that there around $6 in America. I think the price is really decent for a Australian Eyeshadow as its really versatile. But I normally buy all my products on sale where I can.

Pigmentation, Texture, Color

The color which i got had quite good pigmentation, although i honestly thought that the 'Tool Cool' shade was not very pigmented and actually went on quite sheer. I found that when applying the product to my eyes I had to constantly build up the color to get the intensity that I hoped for from the eyeshadow.

Bad to the Bronze and Bold Gold are really pigmented colors, they last all day. The texture of the eyeshadow were really creamy, nice to work with although hard to blend if you don't work with it fast enough, but if i were to wear them i would just apply it as a base and work around that so it wasn't that much of a problem for me :)

The color range is a tad disappointing if you like natural everyday looks, as most of the colors they provide in the range are very bright and vibrant. I'm hoping to get ' Tough as Taupe' and ' Pomegranate Punk' soon!

Swatches of all 3 colors I have!
Left to Right; Too Cool, Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze

  • Tenacious Teal ( 40 ) This is a bright blue color
  • Fierce and Tangy ( 10 ) This is the bright orange color
  • Audacious Asphalt ( 15 ) This is the dark grey color, it has a metallic finish
  • Painted Purple ( 20 ) This is the Purple color, and by testing out the testers I didn't like the consistency of this one, I found I couldn't blend it and the texture wasn't as creamy as the other ones, but none the less its a really pretty color! :)
  • Bad to the Bronze ( 25 ) A nice medium bronze color, prefect for a natural day look if applied not too heavily! This has to be my fave!
  • Pomegranate Punk ( 30 ) A muted maroon brown color!
  • Tough as Taupe ( 35 ) This is a light grey-ish brown color, it looks quite light in the packaging but when I tried it in store it a lot darker than I expected! Also this color does not have shimmer in it as i re call, I might be wrong though but It's not as shimmery as the other ones in the collection.
  • Bold Gold ( 45 ) A yellow gold toned color with alot of shimmer in it!
  • Edgy Emerald ( 50 ) A cool green color!

Packaging

I love the packaging of these eye shadows, it makes the colors easy to see and also the name. It has a classic, simple  look which i really like! This may be a bit over dramatic but i do get really annoyed with the stickers that have 'Color Tattoo' on them, the ones i bought had little bubbles in them like school books * Lol!* But they have these little bubbles which I wanna remove which gets annoying for me personally! * Laughs* :)

And also, I was walking tot he Maybelline section one day and then i see Pomegranate Punk but its got the label with Audacious Asphalt, maybe they should remember to label the right products with the right names..

Final Verdict!

Overall, this product has been really great and I love it! They really don't crease, I have really oily eyes and these stay on all day, although some colors are more impressive than others, they have really good staying power and can last all day! They are actually really affordable in comparison to other makeup brands in Australia, this is a product worth investing in and I will defiantly buy more :)
* Just a note, after a day of the swatches on my hand they are still on my hand and haven't budged that much! I highly recommend these if you want your eye makeup staying on all day :)

Thanks for reading my first review and blog post! Hope you enjoy (:

Welcome to my blog!

Hello, Welcome to my blog!

I'm a teen and blogging about random drugstore makeup products that I buy here in Australia, as many of you know makeup in Australia is REALLY expensive, its can be over double the price of makeup in America, which is ridiculous.

I'm doing this in my spare time as I really enjoy makeup! :) I'm here to show my personal views on certain products, pros and cons so and so forth. This is just for fun, I'm not a professional but i do have some basic knowledge on makeup, if I didn't I wouldn't be buying it! But I do hope some day in the future that I can further my knowledge to a professional level. I find that through my blog I can provide personal views and help people.

Hope people enjoy my first time blog! :)
